Get Hooked

How we went from a small tackle shop to an online shopping experience​

Our story starts in 2015, in a small town in Upstate New York called Rochester. Known for its large city and wealthy suburbs. Get Hooked started small fishing retailer located on the erie canal.​

When the canal emptied business slowed massively and the CEO made the executive decision to go online. It was the only way our beloved fishing shop could stay open year round. Within weeks we were getting orders from all over the world and getting feedback which we took and used to make our company better. Our gear is made by fisherman for fisherman, and it all started at one shop in tiny old Rochester.
